I was kicked for about 12 minutes for "Bullying"

The other day I was kicked for about 12 minutes over a single message because I was "bullying" but I don't believe the context to my message was acknowledged because this is what I was responding to

I made a one off joke by sending an image and I said something along the lines of "lumi coming back to us hating and making fun of her" because of the photo of Bobby joking about it. I don't believe I should have been kicked for 12 minutes because as far as I'm aware this is the first kick I've ever received for bullying anyone. I also did not use any sort of vulgar language in my message. I asked Mothy who used to be a mod and she said normally you receive 5 minutes for bullying. I'm not sure if this still stands because I've never been kicked for bullying until today. Here's the photo of my kick.

It gives the exact quote of what I got kicked for and I took the photo approximately 2 minutes after I got kicked. I'm just sort of confused on what counted as bullying since I wasn't using any sort of vulgar language or insulting anyone either. I was responding to the aforementioned screenshot and again, I don't think the context of my message was acknowledged before I was kicked. I wasn't implying that I was actively making fun of her I was solely referring to that screenshot so I feel my message was misconstrued. The rudest thing I said was that I hated someone but I don't think it's bullying to have an opinion on someone. I wasn't actively insulting luminous or trying to make fun of her in that moment I was only making a joke in response to the screenshot about how some users aren't particularly fond of her. I wasn't trying to bully or harass anyone in that message so I'm just sort of confused on what warranted a kick because again, it was a one off message and I believe the rudest thing I said was "hate" and "making fun of"
I didn't really even get a chance to change the topic from that joke either, I didn't get warned or anything I just got kicked immediately. I would've appreciated it if I had been told to drop the topic because I would've been happy to oblige. It wasn't in my intention to try to turn the chat against her in that message and I would've listened to any sort of warning about the chat topic.

What counted as bullying was the image + the quote. Obviously I can't put the image in the reason.

Warnings are completely optional by all staff, and have been since Arkham's ran this site. I usually give warnings to newer users as they are a bit unfamiliar with the rules. But, honestly one must understand that the more you're in the business of being a mod or admin, the more repetitive things get, thusly, the staff member gets tired of warning users. It'd be one thing if it was a requirement, but unfortunately it is not. I do see where you're coming from though with this complaint in general.

So, this comment made from a joke was a joke then? I must know. That'll tell me what I must do next to fix this up.

Why am I getting kicked for an image I didn't send? I didn't send that image so how is it apart of my kick reason? I didn't send the original image with Bobby nor did I screenshot it I was simply making a joke in response to the image another person sent

It was a gif that you sent along with the message. I deleted both the gif and the post so it’s recorded in the logs. At this point I forgot what the gif was, since it’s been so long since the initial kick and the chatlogs don’t save the actual gif. It just saves it as “Luminous has deleted a post by NYEN” and shows nothing afterward.

Alright, since this was a joke that I didn’t know the context about, the kick will be reverted. Sorry for the inconvenience and happy chatting!
