Reporting and rule breaking.

I'm honestly just making this thread to discuss this with the active forum users. Why is shielding a thing? Everyone is so woke here in the forums, questioning the rules and making new ones, but when they are in chat they are condoning rule breaking and shielding their buddies from getting reported, kicked and banned.

The reason why I'm bringing this up now is cause a user who was previously banned got an account handed to them by their friend (who originally made that account and a few others) to help them bypass their ban. They have now been banned again, but I know this is something that is done in general and not just with them.

And here we all are, discussing the rules and how the chat should be, like hypocrites.

People love to pretend to care about the systems in place, I'm one of them so I get why lol. But I really don't know why we do that. Why we pretend to care about the rules knowing we'll ultimately just dodge them anyway. EDIT: Personally I don't shield really, I don't talk to that many people in pms because my anxiety is way too high for that. But I do find myself using the report button a lot.

I get it. I know you don't or at least I haven't seen you do it, but others have especially recently. I think the ones who condone it should at least own up to it. But I know they won't, who would wanna admit to that lol.

Sorry about the shielding a few days ago. Didn't actually know they were bypassing, thought things were just normal.

You may not have known they had been banned, but others who were on did. I was just frustrated by the lack of reporting and the fact that users actively help others bypass. This thread is me venting but still thanks for at least replying.
