The nevermore novel series is a personal favorite of mine, it's ongoing too. Three books are out in total and another is coming out this October. Daughter of smoke and bone is good as well, but I've only gotten halfway through it.

Oh and an added detail, daughter of smoke and bone belongs to a trilogy.

The Alchemist is a favorite of mine.
I recommend The Martian to all the sci-fi lovers on here.
